Akuapem Poloo Gets 90 Days Sentence For Going Naked In Front Of Son

Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo has been convicted to a 90-day jail term for going Naked in the presence of her son, aso Naija reports.

Recall that the youthful boy had turned 7 in June last year and to celebrate his birthday, his mother had a photoshoot for him. It all, however, went wrong as the mother posed Nude in front of the boy, holding his hands. This stirred a lot of controversies and eventually landed her in court.

Passing her judgment today, the judge governing her case at the Accra Circuit Court, Mrs. Christiana Cann sentenced Akuapem Poloo to 90 days in jail. It was reported that at the statement of the judgment, the actress begged for mercy but to no avail “Mummy please, Mummy, I beg you, Mummy please,” she reportedly said to the judge. Akuapem Poloo’s lawyer, Mr. Andy Vortia, was also said to have prayed for a more lenient sentence but the court held that a harsh verdict must be passed to serve as an impediment to others.
