Abdulrasheed Bawa, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is said to have collapsed on Thursday while delivering a speech at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to the Daily Trust, Bawa was delivering a goodwill message during National Identity Day celebrations when he abruptly stopped speaking.
He was then taken to his seat at the event by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami, and other senior officials.
Before the incident, Bawa was talking about a man who was arrested in Ibadan, Oyo state, with 116 SIM cards.
