The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, for a 10-day camping programme ahead of this year’s FIFA U20 World Cup finals, Aso Naija reports.

This was made known in a video shared on the Nigeria Football Federation Instagram page on Monday.

The video was captioned, “ The Flying Eagles have arrived in Argentina for the #FIFAU20WorldCup and were well received by the Nigerian community in Buenos Aires.

“They are in Group D of the tournament alongside Brazil, Italy and Dominican Republic.”

So, Nigeria has been slotted in Group D for this year’s championship and will play the Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil in that order in the group phase.

So, Their first two games will hold in Mendoza, in the far west of Argentina, against the Dominican Republic on 21 May and against Italy on 24 May, before they fly to La Plata to play Brazil on 27 May.

 

Moreover, the Nigerian men’s national under-20 football team represents Nigeria in men’s international football also known as the Nigeria Under-20s or nicknamed the Flying Eagles.

Further, the football club is the youth team for the national soccer in Nigeria.

And their head coach is Ladan Bosso.
