NYSC Scrapping: Sports Minister Dare Speaks On Rumored Reports

Sunday Dare, the Minister of Youths and Sports Development, has spurned reports alleging the NYSC scheme is set to be cast off, aso Naija reports.

Two days ago, it was widely theorized that the one-year mandatory scheme for all graduates will be discarded following the second reading of a bill in the House of Representatives seeking to end the scheme which some feel has outlasted its efficacy.

Handling the assumptions on his Twitter handle this morning, the Minister said the government is devoted to strengthening the scheme.
