Peruzzi’s new album supersedes Wizkid, peaks at Number 1 on Apple Music
Peruzzi’s new album ”Rum and Boogie” is giving rise to waves already, just 12 hours after its release, the body of work has displaced Wizkid at the prime speck of the Apple Music chart, aso Naija reports.
Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh also known as Peruzzi, is a talented act signed to Davido’s DMW, and he has secured the top spot on Apple Music albums on the same day he dropped his latest project, Rum, and Boogie.

For months, he has been keeping fans in the wait after declaring openly in 2019 that he would be dropping a new album, and the highly anticipated project was released Rum & Boogie in the early hours of today, April 9, 2021, and in less than 12 hours it peaked at number 1 on Apple Music albums, displacing Wizkid’s Made in Lagos.
He had ahead taken to his Instagram page to announce the release of the 20-tracklist project with the caption;
For God So Loved The World, That He Gave His Only Begotten Son…. You Know The Rest. My Second Album RUM & BOOGIE OUT NOW!!!!!!! FEAST !!!!!!!
