Ric Hassani Apologies To Fans For Saying Burna Boy Is Better Than Other Artists
Ric Hassani has tendered an apology notes on twitter for berating his colleagues and praising singer Burna Boy.
The singer had taken to Twitter to hail Burna Boy following his performance at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
Ric wrote: “I hope everyone has seen Burna’s MSG performance and I hope that becomes the standard.”
He then added: “No more nonsenses and mimings and yellings on stage please.”
Fans of other Nigerian singers hit out at him, accusing him of throwing shade at other singers.
He has now apologised.
He tweeted: “Okay, I took a moment to catch my breathe. I understand those offended, I apologise. I could have passed the message in a better way. Love, always love.”
Hassani graduated from Covenant University in Nigeria.
He attended the University of Surrey, where he earned a master’s degree in energy economics.
Ric Hassani released his debut album The African Gentleman in 2016.
He is said to have a dress style that is influenced by his self-acclaimed stance as a gentleman.
