Wizkid deserves African Artiste of the Year award” – Don Jazzy

Nigerian Music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, professionally known as Don Jazzy, has expressed that Wizkid deserves to be nominated as the African Artiste of the Decade.

He proclaimed on the just held Billboard Music Awards, BBMAs, which saw Canadian rapper, Aubrey ”Drake” Graham win the Artist of the Decade award at the Billboard Music Awards, aso Naija reports.

Sports and entertainment commentator, Adesope Olajide, formerly took to Instagram to yearn for the public’s opinion on which African artiste deserved the title if there was ever an African version of the award.

”Since Billboards awarded Drake the artist of the decade, who will you give that accolade to in African pop culture”, Adesope wrote.

Making inductions on the comment section, Don Jazzy indicated he’d pick Wizkid as his African Artiste of the Decade.

“Wiz,” he simply wrote.
