Departing from Abuja on Tuesday, April 23, President Tinubu has been invited by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, to engage in high-level discussions.
During his visit, he will hold separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom.
Queen Maxima serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.
In the Netherlands, President Tinubu will participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, which aims to foster collaboration and partnerships between conglomerates and organizations from both countries.
The forum will particularly focus on areas such as agriculture and water management, seeking innovative solutions for sustainable farming practices.
Discussions will also take place on the renowned Dutch expertise in port management operations.
After his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will proceed to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, scheduled for April 28-29.
The WEF meeting, themed “Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development,” will bring together over 1,000 leaders from various sectors.
President Tinubu and his delegation will leverage this opportunity to further discuss his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country.
Accompanying the President will be a group of ministers and senior government officials.
