EFCC Holds Cubana ChiefPriest for Naira Abuse: Socialite Faces Charges in Court

Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been reportedly detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for his alleged involvement in the abuse of the Nigerian currency, Naira, Aso Naija Reports.

The businessman is scheduled to appear before the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, April 17th, where he will face charges related to the improper handling of the Naira.

The charges against him include allegations of spraying and tampering with the nation’s currency during a social event, which is considered a violation of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

The spokesperson for the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest of Cubana Chief Priest during a conversation with journalists.
