FAAN Headquarters Relocated from Abuja to Lagos by FG

In a recent development, the Federal Government has approved the transfer of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) headquarters from Abuja to Lagos, Aso Naija Reports.

This decision was communicated through a memorandum released on January 15th, signed by Olubunmi Kuku, the Managing Director of FAAN. The directive to relocate the headquarters to Lagos was issued by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace.

According to the memo, “The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has instructed that the Headquarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) be relocated from Abuja to Lagos. As a result of this, you are requested to provide an assessment of the implications of the relocation to the management.”

It is worth noting that the headquarters was previously situated in Lagos. However, in 2020, during the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari, it was moved to Abuja.
