Messi’s Hotel Room In Qatar Will Be Turned Into A Museum Following Argentina’s World Cup Success

The hotel room where soccer star Lionel Messi stayed for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is set to be turned into a museum following Argentina’s success in the tournament.

He was key to his first World Cup win for Argentina since 1986, and he was named Tournament of Player after scoring twice in a dramatic final against France.

The 35-year-old won the silver boot after scoring seven goals at the tournament.

Argentina started the tournament with a shock 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia but eventually made it through to the group stage after beating Mexico and Poland.

In the round of 16, Argentina beat Australia 2-1 and had to go deep to beat the Netherlands on penalties after 120 minutes of play ended with a score of 2-2.

The semi-final saw Albiceleste overcome Luka Modric-led Croatia 3-0 before edging past France on penalties.

Messi’s achievements will now be immortalized, with Achraf Ben Ayad tweeting that the Qatar University space he resides in will be transformed into a ‘small museum’ allowing interested fans to see How Messi spends his time between matches in a dramatic campaign.
