Four More Commissioners Resign from Governor Fubara’s Cabinet Amidst Rift with Predecessor

Four additional commissioners have tendered their resignations from Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s cabinet, citing a growing discord with his predecessor and the current Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, Aso Naija Reports.

The commissioners who have stepped down are Dr. George-Kelly Alabo, who served as the Commissioner for Works; Mrs. Inime Chinwenwo-Aguma, who held the position of Commissioner for the Ministry of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation; Isaac Kamalu, the Commissioner for Finance; and Emeka Woke, the Commissioner for Special Duties.

In their resignation letters, the officials expressed their gratitude to the governor for providing them with the opportunity to serve.

Prior to their resignations, the State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, had already tendered his resignation on Thursday, December 14.
