UK-Based Nigerian Cosmetic Surgeon Found to Have Exchanged Free Botox Treatments for Sexual Favors with Patient

A UK-based cosmetic doctor of Nigerian descent, Oluwafemi ‘Tijion’ Esho, has been found by a medical tribunal to have exchanged free Botox treatments for sexual acts with a patient, Aso Naija Reports.

Botox injections use a toxin to temporarily paralyze facial muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Esho, who has appeared on several popular TV programs, was said to have admitted to an improper emotional relationship with the patient, who is an OnlyFans model.

The patient, referred to as Patient A, previously claimed she received free Botox in return for sexual favors at Esho’s clinic. She also alleged that they exchanged “inappropriate” sexual messages on Instagram.

During a recent hearing, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) ruled that Esho did indeed exchange the toxin treatment for sexual acts with the woman.

The 42-year-old doctor, who has several celebrity clients, had told the tribunal he never had any physical sexual contact with Patient A.

However, the panel determined that Esho did engage in sexual intercourse with the woman at his clinic in Newcastle in 2021 and provided Botox free of charge.

The tribunal also found that the doctor told the woman he “could get away with giving her Botox in exchange for sexual services”. The panel concluded that Esho’s overall conduct was sexually motivated, though they did not consider Patient A to be vulnerable due to her profession.

The hearing will reconvene later in April to decide whether Esho’s fitness to practice is impaired because of his misconduct.
