Cameroonian gay jailed for attempted homosexuality

Cameroonian gay and crossdresser Shakiro who is well recognized for crossdressing has been sentenced to five years in prison for “attempted homosexuality” , aso Naija reports.

It was compiled that Shakiro had been charged numerous times and vindicated before this sentencing.

Shakiro, real name Loic Njeukam, and Patricia, aka Roland Mouthe, were sentenced on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

The two received the absolute sentence of five years in prison and fines of 200,000 CFA francs ($372.44), their lawyers told Reuters.
