“I always speak to God before releasing songs” – Singer Spyro says

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Oludipe Olawasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has noted that he always speak to  God before releasing any song, aso Naija reports.

Speaking in a recent interview with Punch’s Saturday Beats, the “Who is Your Guy” crooner noted that he always seek for the lord’s direction and blessings days before releasing a song.

He said he has never dropped a song without first seeking the face of God.

“I usually go into God’s presence to seek His face, His blessings and directions, days before releasing any song. I don’t do anything without first enquiring from God.

Also, I’m of the opinion that there is a physical part to things, and also a spiritual part; so I make sure I take that spiritual part seriously. One needs someone working behind the scenes for one”, he said.

On the inspiration of his hit and viral song, “Who is Your Guy,” spyro said,

“It was actually a love song when I first recorded in 2021 as freestyle.

However, when I wanted to release it in 2022, I decided to revamp it and make it more relatable to as many people as possible. It’s not just about lovers; ‘one’s guy’ could be anyone, ranging from family and friends.”
