Social Media Platform X Experiences Global Outage

The global social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, experienced a widespread service disruption, Aso Naija Reports.

X users encountered difficulties in accessing posts on the platform, greeted with a message that read “Welcome to X!” The loading process on X Pro, formerly known as TweetDeck, was also affected, displaying a message stating “Waiting for posts.”

According to data from Downdetector, more than 47,000 users in the United States reported encountering access problems with both X and X Pro.

It is worth noting that X has experienced several instances of service outages following its acquisition by Elon Musk and the subsequent large-scale staff layoffs.
