Arrival of Late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s Body from Germany to Nigeria (Photos)
On Friday, January 5, 2024, at approximately 3:39 p.m., the aircraft carrying his body arrived.
Following his passing in Germany, the late Governor’s body was transported to his home country. Upon arrival, it was received by his wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, as well as his children and siblings, with Prof. Wole Akeredolu, his immediate younger brother, leading the reception.
Late Akeredolu fought a prolonged battle with prostate cancer and sadly succumbed to it on December 27, 2023.
