Govt Offices In Abuja, Others Shut As NLC Strike Goes Hot (VIDEO)
Correspondent, who visited the Federal Secretariat which houses some agencies under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, observed that these areas were deserted as workers decided to stay back home.
Banks located in the areas surveyed were also under lock and key.
Newsmen who visited one of the major commercial banks located at the Federal Secretariat was told there would be no banking operations due to the strike declared by the NLC.

NLC officials who stormed one of the banks in the area ‘Jaiz Bank’ to entire compliance with the NLC strike directive ordered the bankers to return home.
“Please go home, shut down your systems, we are locking the bank,” the NLC officials ordered the bank staff.
Many people who wanted to travel down to Abuja today for 6th September event are finding it difficult to travel due to the NLC emergency strike.
