I Wish You Well, Sanwo-Olu Hails Buhari ahead of new administration 

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has wished the outgoing president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), ahead of the handover of power to President-elect Bola Tinubu well .

Sanwo-Olu, who appreciated Buhari for his national honours, also wish the president well in his future endeavors.

The governor made this known in a tweet on Monday.

He wrote, “It was indeed an honor, as I was conferred with the title of Commander of the Order of Niger.

“A big thank you to the President, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, for deeming it fit to bestow upon me, this National honour.

“I wish you well as you formally hand over the mantle of leadership to the President-elect, today Monday, the 29th.”

It was indeed an honor, as I was conferred with the title of Commander of the order of Niger (CON).

Sanwo-olu became governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress after contesting and unexpectedly winning the APC gubernatorial primaries against incumbent governor Akinwunmi Ambode in October 2018
