PDP Vice Chairman, Adekunle Oduborisha Defects to APC, Declares Support for Tinubu

Adekunle Oduborisha, the vice chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Lagos state, Otunba Amid Adekunle Oduborisha, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared support for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

While speaking, he revealed that his major purpose for joining the APC is to ensure that Tinubu, win the presidential election.

The former PDP leader defected to the ruling APC during a rally in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state on Sunday, January 8.

He stated that he has come to the APC to stay and will not decamp to another party because he belongs to the APC. He also declared support for Tinubu in 2023 general election.

In Oduborisha’ words:

“Yes, I am returning to the APC and not decamping like others. This is where I belong and I am coming back home. It is indeed my reintegration into the APC. I am here to ensure the victory of Asiwaju Tinubu and all other APC candidates.”

Oduborisha noted that one of the party chieftain, Hon. Benson has made him to have faith in the APC again with his performance.

He said:

“He has shown what it is to use the mandate of the people for the people effectively. The people of Ikorodu are blessed to have Jimi Benson and I am happy to be here today”.
