During a speech in Abuja on November 13, the National Security Adviser (NSA)  Nuhu Ribadu, revealed that the current administration led by Bola Tinubu inherited a bankrupt country from the previous administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Aso Naija Reports.

Ribadu emphasized that the revenue generated by the Tinubu-led administration is being utilized to repay the debt incurred by the country.

Despite facing significant budgetary constraints, the Federal Government remains committed to establishing a robust and sustainable defense management and security apparatus to effectively tackle modern challenges.

Ribadu acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, stating that the country had reached a point where all incoming funds were being used to repay past debts.

However, he assured that the administration is making every effort to fulfill the requirements of the armed forces and expressed confidence that leaders would witness and acknowledge their endeavors.
