Actor, Murphy Afolabi buried in his Ikorodu residence  (photos)

Popular Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi has been laid to rest at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos State, aso Naija reports.

The thespian, who died on Sunday, May 14, a few days after his 49th birthday, was laid to rest amid tears on Monday evening, May 15.

His body was retrieved from the Isolo mortuary, where it had been deposited, and taken to Ikorodu, where it was observed according to Islamic rites.

His funeral was well attended by his colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry.
