Banks disconnection: MTN explores Flutterwave, Kuda, other payment Channels
Following the disconnection of MTN customers by marketable banks, the Mobile app Network Operator currently or is scrutinizing different electronic payment platforms for its clients to reload their phones.
The alternative paths encompass fee solutions outlets such as Flutterwave, Jumia Pay, OPay, Kuda, Carbon, and BillsnPay.
MTN in an announcement on Saturday by its Senior Manager, External Relations, Funso Aina, also said customers could recharge airtime by dialing *904# and *606#.
Aso Naija had before reported that millions of telecommunications subscribers were cut off on Friday as commercial banks disconnected MTN customers from banking channels including the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data and banking apps.

MTN has 77.35 million subscribers, according to the latest industry statistics from the Nigerian Communications Commission.
The telco had lessened the banks’ commission from an average of 3.5 percent to 2.5 percent which caused the activities of the banks.
The banks had written MTN to revert to the old commission, otherwise, they would block MTN airtime in all their channels.
