Dangote starts hiring for its oil refinery and is providing free housing for the employees, FG Excited

The Dangote refinery is nearly complete, which might mean the end of Nigeria’s reliance on imported fuel

The 650,000 barrels per day Dangote refinery is 95 percent complete, according to the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA). As representatives from Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals submitted their work plan for 2022–2023, NMDPRA made this announcement on Twitter.

The Authority Chief Executive, NMDPRA, Farouk Ahmed, stressed the refinery’s significance to the nation while assuring of the necessary support to ensure a speedy completion and start-up of operations.

According to Punch, NMDPRA officials expressed confidence that, once the refinery is fully functioning, it will greatly strengthen the Nigerian currency.

The Dangote refinery would be the largest single-train facility in the world and the largest oil refinery in Africa, they added.
Online images of the refinery’s construction activity have surfaced, along with a job application portal for suitably qualified Nigerians.
According to a post shared by @oivenews:
“What is left is that contractors are currently working on electrical units, insulation and testing to round up construction for production to begin.
Successful Nigerian job applicants will receive temporary housing for 20,000 workers from Dangote.
