Inflation: I’ll inform Tinubu that Nigerians are suffering — Kano Gov. Yusuf

Kano Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, expressed his deep concern over the exorbitant prices of essential goods in both Kano State and Nigeria as a whole, Aso Naija Reports.

He pledged to take direct action by personally informing President Bola Tinubu about the dire situation.

The governor conveyed this message during a gathering with the local business community and other influential individuals at the Government House in Kano on February 5.

Governor Yusuf emphasized his intention to bring attention to the severe hunger and widespread scarcity, as well as the escalating costs of essential commodities in the state. His primary objective is to appeal to the President for intervention and assistance in alleviating the suffering of the people.

While acknowledging that other regions of the country are also grappling with similar challenges, the governor emphasized the need to advocate specifically for the State, which is regarded as their own constituency.
