Davido Comes Up Empty in All Three Grammy Nominations

The Nigerian artist Davido misses out on winning any awards at the 66th Grammy Awards.

Davido Comes Up Empty in All Three Grammy Nominations

Davido fell short in all three Grammy nominations he received at the 66th Grammy Awards, held on Sunday night, February 4th, Aso Naija Reports.

Despite being recognized for his achievements, Davido did not emerge victorious in any of the categories he was nominated for. His song ‘Feel’ was in contention for the Best Global Music Performance category, ‘Timeless’ was up for the Album of the Year category, and ‘Unavailable’ received a nomination for Best African Music Performance.

Regrettably, Davido did not secure a win in any of these categories.

Just before the commencement of the award ceremony, Davido expressed his excitement in an interview with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly at the Pre-Grammy show.

He mentioned that if he were to win the award for Best African Music Performance category, he would celebrate in an exuberant manner.
