According to reports, the incident occurred at around 12:30 am on Thursday, February 1, in Pambara New Extension, located in the Bwari Central Area of the Federal Capital Territory. The area is situated approximately 200 meters away from a military camp and checkpoint in Bwari. The kidnappers allegedly breached the premises by cutting through the barbed wires surrounding the location.

Local vigilantes in the vicinity attempted to rescue the victim but were hindered by their limited weaponry.
