Iyanya Goes Gaga After A Twitter User Said He Brought Nothing To The Afrobeats Space (Read Tweets)

Popular singer-songwriter, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, known by his stage name, Iyanya has gone furious after a Twitter user said he shouldn’t be compared to the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid and others.

He made the argument when a Twitter user mocked him prior to the praises he got from Triple MG boss, Ubi Frabklin .

The music excutive gave a shoutout to Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid for how they are promoting Afrobeats globally and he mentioned the singer’s name too.

The tweep @ManLikeIcey felt it was a joke for Ubi to call on the singer’s name alongside the leading afrobeats singers .

He wrote; “Ubi Franklin gave shout out to Davido, Wizkid, Rema and Burna Boy for what they’re doing to Afrobeats internationally and he mentioned Iyanya too.”

However, the post didn’t sit well with the afrobeats singer. So, he posted a tweet to argue and maintain that he is still one of the biggest Singers in the afrobeats space.

He wrote; “And who are you again? Only a brainless person will try to undermine my contribution to this game till date. You definitely are clueless.”
