Naira Marley and Sam Larry Freed Following Bail Conditions

In a significant development in the ongoing investigation surrounding the tragic passing of 27-year-old singer Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command has released Naira Marley and socialite Sam Larry, Aso Naija Reports.

The duo, who had been arrested in connection with the case, regained their freedom on Friday, November 17, after meeting their bail conditions.

On November 6, the Yaba Magistrate’s Court granted bail to Naira Marley and Sam Larry in the sum of N20 million with three sureties. Their arraignment and subsequent remand on October 6 stemmed from their alleged involvement in the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s untimely demise.

Presiding Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun instructed the defendants to surrender their passports and report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti as part of their bail conditions.

The release of Sam Larry and his collegue marks a crucial milestone in the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death. While the investigation continues, the duo’s release provides a glimmer of hope for a transparent and just resolution to this heartbreaking case.
